MENNONITE CHURCH DHAMTARI
The work of service by the American Mennonite Mission began in the Dhamtari region on November 22, 1899. This humanitarian service commenced at a time when the devastating famine of 1897 had severely shaken the Dhamtari region and had virtually broken the spirit of the people. Mennonite Church Dhamtari was established on 1900

MENNONITE CHURCH mohndi
This Mennonite Church, established in the year 1921 in the village of Mohadi in Dhamtari district, is one of the oldest congregations of the Mennonite Church in India (MCI). Only a few of the original families remain. Some member families now reside in the villages of Churmudia and Singpur, and they have become members of the Mennonite congregations in Kurud and Singpur. MENNONITE CHURCH shantipur
Shantipur is located 10 km from Dhamtari headquarter on National Highway No. 30 in the south direction. The Shantipur congregation is purely a Leprosy Mission related congregation. This congregation was established in 1923 with the cooperation of Leprosy Mission and American Mennonite Board of Missions. Initially the members of this congregation were Christians of Leprosy Ashram and the staff working in the Ashram but with time Christians coming from outside have also started living here. At present the work of Leprosy Mission has been stopped. Pastor Estika Nanda is pastor in-charge.
MENNONITE CHURCH ghatula
One of the early churches of the Mennonite Church in India (MCI) was established in the year 1916. This church is located in the village of Ghathula, in the Dhamtari district. Ghathula is situated 76 kilometers southeast of Dhamtari. Deacon Anosh Joseph is pastor in-charge.
MENNONITE CHURCH maradeo
The Mennonite Church in Maradeo was established in the year 1903. Prior to this, in 1902, the American Mennonite Mission purchased 50 acres of land in the village of Rudri, where a mission bungalow was constructed. Boarding facilities were also built for both boys and girls. In 1911–12, the government acquired about 21 acres of the mission’s land for irrigation purposes, which affected the boarding facilities. As a result, the membership in Maradeo dropped from 194 to just 23. Later, the construction of the Rudri Dam on the Mahanadi River led to the demolition of the mission bungalow as well. Rev. MENNONITE CHURCH balod
The Hebrom Mennonite Church in Balod was established in the year 1977. It is the 15th church of the Mennonite Church in India, Dhamtari, and is located approximately 44 kilometers west of Dhamtari. On October 31, 1976, a meeting of Christians in Balod was held, during which the decision to establish a congregation was made. The formal inauguration of this congregation took place on January 2, 1977, marking the official beginning of the church. Rev. Arun Rawat is pastor in-charge.

Bethel Mennonite Church Balodgahan is situated in Balodgahan, a prosperous village in Gurur Tehsil of Balod district. It is located just 12 kilometers south of Dhamtari headquarters, along National Highway No. 43.
Under the leadership of Bishop M.C. Lapp, the church was established in the village. Since then, more than a hundred years have passed, and the church has continued to grow and progress steadily. It is the 3rd church of the Mennonite church in India.

MENNONITE CHURCH dallirajahara
In 1968, Dalli Rajhara was officially recognized and established as the 14th Mennonite church by the MCI Conference. Iron ore from the mines of Dalli Rajhara is regularly supplied by rail to the Bhilai Steel Plant. As a result, most of the members of this congregation are employees of the plant. In Kusumkasa, the congregation primarily originated from the family group of Lukas Master, which over time became a Christian community. This group was officially recognized as a congregation by the Conference in 1968 during a special worship service. The first church building was constructed on a 25'x50' piece of land donated by Lukas Master. It was inaugurated and dedicated during the Sunday worship service on January 26, 1969. MENNONITE CHURCH durg
The Mennonite Church in Durg is the 9th congregation of MCI Dhamtari and was established in 1937. The church building is located in the Mission Compound, Durg, which lies in the heart of the city. National Highway No. 6 passes right in front of the church. The church building is notable for its grandeur and attracts attention with its impressive architecture. Established even before India’s independence, this church and its building hold a unique place in the city. People passing by on the highway are often drawn in by the sound of the bell on the church tower, leading them to join in prayer and worship. Rev. J. B Daniel is pastor in-charge.

The Mennonite Church in Bhilai is located in the steel city of Chhattisgarh, Bhilai. It is the 17th congregation of the Mennonite Church in India and was established on October 22, 1981. The mother church in Dhamtari is approximately 80 kilometers away.
The church building is situated in the Hospital Sector of Bhilai, near the main hospital of the Bhilai Steel Plant, behind the Girls' Hostel. Upon entering the worship hall, which is painted in white, one immediately experiences a sense of God's holiness and peace.

MENNONITE CHURCH KANKER
Located 62 kilometers south of the MCI Conference headquarters, along National Highway No. 43 (currently NH-30), the church in Kanker has been officially recognized and functioning since 1952. The inaugural worship service was held on Good Friday, April 3, 1953, and was conducted by Bishop Wilbur Hostetler. Rev. Akshay Joseph is pastor in-charge.

Charama town, located 35 kilometers from Dhamtari headquarters on National Highway No. 30 (formerly No. 43), serves as the gateway to Kanker district.
Before 1979, ministry work in Charama was started by Rev. D. Dasru and Rev. H.D. Andreas. In its 1991 Annual Conference, the MCI (Mennonite Church in India) Conference granted this Christian fellowship the status of a congregation. From January 25, 1991, Ebenezer Mennonite Church Charama was officially recognized as the 19th congregation of the Conference. Following this, a special worship service to mark the establishment of the congregation was held on February 17, 1991. Rev. Thomas Paul is pastor in-charge.

Keskal, located in Bastar district, is a well-known name in terms of tourism. It is situated 90 kilometers from the MCI headquarters in Dhamtari and 30 kilometers from Kanker city, along National Highway No. 30 (formerly No. 43). The establishment of another Mennonite church in such a beautiful location has been a matter of great joy for the Mennonite Church in India (MCI). As a result, during its 2004 Annual Conference, the MCI General Assembly officially recognized the Mennonite fellowship in Keskal as the 20th congregation of the Conference. A special worship service for the inauguration of the congregation was held on February 6, 2005. Rev Ajay Benet is pastor in-charge.
